ADHD in adults and teenagers.

Assessment

ADHD is diagnosed when signs began in childhood, show up in more than one part of life, and nothing else explains them better. Over a few sessions, your clinician looks at each of these:

• A conversation about attention, organization, restlessness and impulsivity, now and when you were younger.
• Your history growing up. Where possible, someone who knew you as a child, or old school reports.
• Standard questionnaires, filled in by you and sometimes by a partner or family member.
• Anxiety, low mood, sleep and substance use, which can look like ADHD or come with it.

What you receive

Your result in writing, with what we recommend next. If it is not ADHD, we explain what better accounts for your difficulties.

Treatment

You can customize your course of treatment with your clinician.

• Medication, prescribed and followed up in person by a psychiatrist.
• Therapy with a clinical psychologist, such as CBT adapted for ADHD.
• Practical strategies for time, planning and focus, built around your work or school.
• Care for anything that comes with ADHD, such as anxiety, low mood or poor sleep.

For teenagers

• Parents join the first visit, and the clinician also spends time with your teenager alone.
• With your permission, a teacher fills in a short questionnaire, and school reports help too.
• We explain the result to your teenager in a way that makes sense to them, and support you as parents.

If you were diagnosed abroad

Bring your reports and any prescriptions to the first consultation. Your psychiatrist reviews them with you before making any change.

Language and fees

In English, Bahasa Indonesia or both. Your first consultation is Rp 1,500,000 for our founding group of clients (regular fee Rp 2,000,000), and you'll know the cost of anything further before you begin.
